Obituary:
Norma Gatling McGaha, 87, of Monticello passed away at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock on Saturday, February 1st , 2020.She was born May 29, 1932 the daughter of the late Russell and Geneva Gatling of Warren, AR. A 1949 graduate of Warren High School she attended UAMS where she received her certification as a Registered X-Ray Technician in 1951. In her career she was a dedicated employee of Dr. Paul Wallick for over 26 years until her retirement in 1992. An avid bridge player with an incredible wit and sense of humor, she was loved and unconditionally devoted to her family and wide circle of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn McGaha, son Les Paul McGaha and grandson Joshua Munoz, as well as her special friend, Betty Glover. She is survived by her brother Paul and wife Sandra Gatling of Warren, sisters-in-law Shirley King of Wenatchee WA and Sue McGaha of Searcy AR, daughters Holli McGaha of Monticello and Michele McGaha Munoz of Memphis, son-in-law Noe Munoz, along with granddaughters Kelsi Munoz, Isabella Munoz of Memphis and Hannah McGaha of El Dorado. Memorial service was 1:30PM Saturday, February 8th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating.
