Obituary:
Jack C. Johnson age 81, of Hot Springs Village, AR formerly of Hermitage, AR died Sunday, December 1st, 2019 at the CHI St Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, AR. He was born October 14th, 1938 in Hermitage, AR a son of the late Jim Beed Johnson and Ruth Lansdale Johnson. He was a United States Airforce Veteran, a welder, welding inspector, he and his wife Peggy owned Pine Bluff Plating in Pine Bluff, AR for 15 years. He was also a member of the Coronado Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village. He was preceded in death by brothers James F. Johnson, Keith Johnson, Everette Johnson, Walter Johnson and Vernon Johnson and a sister Rosie Jarrett. Surviving is his wife Peggy Wherry Johnson whom he married September 21st, 1963 in Warren, AR. A son Toby Johnson and spouse Gail, Simpsonville, SC; and daughters Renee Jeffcoat, White Hall, AR; Rebecca Truhett and spouse Tom, Beebe, AR. 7 grandchildren Hunter Truhett, Tyler Truhett, Nikki Jeffcoat Helm and spouse Kevin, Jessica Jeffcoat, Grace Anne Gillespie, Mathew Johnson and Lilly Johnson. 2 great-grandchildren Layla Helm and Promise Douglas. Funeral services were 1:30PM Wednesday, December 4th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Greg Stanley and Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls, AR by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Allen Johnson, Mike Lathan, Russell Richard, Wesley Richard, John Moffatt, Jim Moffatt, Frank Moffatt, Mathew Johnson, Brent Higgins and Tyler Truhett.
