Obituary:
Mattie Marie Adams, age 96, of Warren, AR died Monday, September 16, 2019 at the Woods Nursing Home in Monticello, AR. She was born November 9, 1922 in Warren, AR a daughter of the late William Plesant White and Minnie Grace McFall White. She loved being a foster granny, she worked for Jack Winter, Kroger and for 16 years was with the Southeast Arkansas Human Development Center. Mrs. Marie was a member of the Willoughby Free Will Baptist Church and the widow of Troy Adams whom she married May 31, 1941, and he died April 27, 1987. Also preceding her in death was her son, Steve Adams, brothers Stanton White, Dee White, Curtis White, J.B. White, Ebb White, Wiley White and Plesant Carr White. Sisters Ruth O’Neal, Josephine White and Jennie Grace White. Survivors are a grandson, Monty Adams, Warren, AR. Great- grandsons, Logan Adams, Ogden, UT and Landon Adams, Warren, AR. Graveside services were 10:00AM Tuesday, September 17th at Willoughby Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Rauls officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Landon Adams, Dennis Morgan, Scotty Ferrell, Scott White, Tracy White and David White. Honorary pallbearers were Logan Adams, W.A. Kimbrell and Deon Wolfe.
