Harry Lee (Buddy) McCaskill, age 92, of Warren, AR, entered his heavenly home January 14, 2019. He was born December 27th, 1926 in Malvern, AR. a son of the late John McCaskill and Mildred Taylor McCaskill, and also preceded by his brother in law, Ernest Jones.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Helen Smith McCaskill. His adoring daughters, Donna Smith, Wynne, AR and Cheryl McCaskill, Warren, AR. His “older” sister, Jane Jones, Wynne, AR. He was “BUD” to 3 granddaughters: Sunne Moore (Stephen), Jill Davis (Chris), and Robin Fowler (Bart) and 10 great grandchildren, all from Wynne, AR.
A true servant, he served his country during WWII, as well as countless hours volunteering with the Bradley County Veterans Museum. He served on the program committee and participated in the annual Memorial Day and Veterans Day services. He was humbled to be invited for veteran’s appreciation on WWII Honor Flight to Washington, DC in 2014. He served as chairman of Bradley County Veterans, Inc.- the only WWII veteran on the board, and was a member of the American Legion.
He served his church as an elder, on various committees, the “go-to” person when anything needed attention, and always made sure there were fresh donuts and coffee. He was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church since moving to Warren in 1936.
Funeral services were 1:30PM Wednesday, January 16th, at The First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. David Richie and Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Ricky Roper, Gregg Reep, Randy Hollis, Bob Milton, John Gavin, Joel Tolefree, Butch Belin, and Cliff Morgan. Honorary pallbearers were Curtis Blankinship, John Little, Billy Burton, Jim Anders, Alton Richard, Floyd Brown, Jimmy Thornton, Jack Scobey and Mike Berry.
