Obituary:
Hazel Nichols Williams Bond, age 85 of Warren, AR died Wednesday March 7th at her home. She was born June 19th, 1932 in Drew County, AR, a daughter of the late Calvin Nichols and Maude Johnson Nichols. Hazel was a charter member of the Light House Church, she was employed with Jack Winter and Potlatch Lumber Company, and was a housewife, homemaker and a wonderful loving mother. Also preceding her in death are brothers, Calvin “Jr.” Nichols, Calvin Eugene “Punkin” Nichols, sisters Marie Williams and Betty Cater. Survivors are Husband Bobby Bond, 1 son Danny Williams (Audrey), Warren, AR. Daughters Sandra Rawls (Jody), Warren, AR, Brenda Forrest (Danny), Beebe, AR, Linda Williams Sinclair, Magnolia, AR, Teresa Williams (Jimmy), Warren, AR 2 step daughters, Debbi Frances, Pine Bluff, AR and Lisa Riles, Franklin, NC. A step son Bobby Gene Bond, Jr, Pine Bluff, AR. Brothers W.L. “Sambo” Nichols, Warren, AR and Charles Nichols, Warren, AR. A sister Dottie Jackson, Des Moines, IA. 6 grandchildren Tina Martinez, Marion, AR, Randy Rawls, Warren, AR, Kasey Johnson, El Dorado, AR, Terry Forrest, Topeka, KS, Jerry Forrest, Hope Mills, NC, Kelli Williams, Warren, AR. 7 great-grandchildren. 2 special nieces Lisa Bianco and Leslie Hiscocks, Des Moines, IA., and additional nieces and nephews. Funeral service was 2:00PM Sunday, March 11th at Frazer ‘s Chapel with Rev. Ricky Smith officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jody Rawls, Danny Forrest, Jimmy Williams, Randy Rawls, Terry Forrest, and Jerry Forrest. Honorary pallbearers were James Bradley, Joe Lee Lasiter, Dwayne Adair, Ricky Loomis, and David Nichols.
