Debra West, age 61, of Banks, AR, died Tuesday, March 28, at her home. She was born August 25, 1955, in Fort Hood, TX, a daughter of the late David Allen Johnson, JR., and Neoma Sue Hooks Johnson. Debra was a former employee of Martinís Department Store, Merchants & Planters Insurance, a former Justice of the Peace on the Bradley County Quorum Court, a former mayor of Banks, AR, was a graduate of Banks High School and attended U.A.M. Survivors are her husband Freddie West whom she married November 30, 1972, in Hampton, AR. Two daughters Laura West Stedman and spouse Kevin, and Nicole West all of Banks, AR. One brother David Allen Johnson of Banks, AR. Five grandchildren Ashley Giandelone and spouse Joey, Autumn Baggett, Adriana Baggett all of Banks, AR, Courtney Dunn and spouse Thomas of Tinsman, AR, and Destiny Evans of Lakeland, FL. Five great-grandchildren Kade, Brooklyn, Kara, Jesse, and Hana. Funeral service was 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 30, at Frazerís Chapel with Rev. William Harton officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in McFarland Cemetery at Banks by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Thomas Dunn, Keaton Hudson, Ty Hudson, Allen Johnson, Jeff Strong, and Joey Giandelone. Honorary pallbearers were Shaun Johnson, Stacy Johnson, and Roger George.
