Frances Norrell Corker, age 77, of Dallas, Texas formerly of Hamburg, Arkansas died Saturday, April 26, at Texas Regional Medical Center, Sunny Vale, Texas. She was born May 10, 1936 at Hamburg, Arkansas a daughter of the late Oscar Norrell and Eunice Curry Norrell. She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. She married Oscar Lee Corker on October 20, 1953 and he died July 30, 1991. Surviving are 2 sons Oscar Dewayne Corker, Sr. and spouse Rhonda, Seagoville, Texas, Robert Allen Corker and spouse Karen, Searcy, Ark; 1 daughter Frances Ann Frier and spouse David, Mesquite, Texas; 2 sisters LeFreda Johnson, Hamburg, Ark. and Virginia Hearn, Crossett, Ark; 10 Grandchildren Oscar Dewayne Corker, Jr. and spouse Kara, Seagoville, Tex, Joyce Elaine Kruse and Josh Cotton, Seagoville, Tex, Lonnie Lee Corker, Seagoville, Tex, Carroll Wayne Corker, Kemp, Tex, Catherine Ross and spouse Jeremy, Kemp, Tex, Hunter Corker and Haydn Corker, both of Searcy, Ark, Christopher Bryan Frier and spouse Yuyi, San Angelo, Tex, Jennifer Magen Frier, Mesquite, Tex and Molly Frances Frier and fiancé Justin Ray, Mesquite, Tex; 11 great grand children Sergei Kruse, Nikolai Kruse, Daniel Dewayne Corker (Danny), Jayden Cotton, Madison Corker, Kelsey Corker, David Corker, Nora Ross, Orion Ross, Christopher Allen Lee Frier and Heath Lee Frier. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons Carroll Corker and Norman Corker; 2 brothers Oscar Norrell, Jr and spouse Marcel and William E. Norrell; 2 sisters Doris Jenkins and spouse Arnold and Geneva King and spouse Bill and 3 grandchildren Robert A. (Little Bobby) Corker, Jr, Matthew Cody Corker and Shawnda Dawn Corker. Graveside services were 2:00pm Thursday, May 1, at Carlock Cemetery near Hamburg with Rev. David Frier officiating. Pallbearers were Christopher Frier, Justin Ray, Carlton Maxwell, Jimmy Norrell Raleigh Christy and Anthony Cockrell. Arrangements were by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
