Callie Smith Knickerbocker, age 104, of Moro Bay, AR. died Sunday December 9, at Hillsboro Manor Nursing Home in El Dorado, AR. Born October 1, 1908 in Marsden, AR. a daughter of the late Randolph Smith and Ella Vines Smith she was a homemaker, member of Moro Bay Baptist Church and the widow of Glenn D. Knickerbocker who died February 3, 1987. Also, preceding her in death were brothers Roy Smith, Clarence Smith, Oscar Smith and a sister Rachel Lucas. Survivors are 3 nephews Roy Lynn Smith and spouse Donna, Moro Bay, AR., Billy Ray Smith and spouse Leasha, Strong, AR., James Ed Knickerbocker and spouse Jane, Bismark, AR. 3 nieces Wynoka Smith and spouse Sambo, Hilo, AR., Edna Dean Davis, Camden, AR., Louise Knickerbocker, Camden, AR. Graveside services were 1:30 p.m. Wednesday December 12, at Marsden Cemetery with Rev. Joe McClellan officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Kenneth “Pete” Williams, Cliff Stanton, Ed Knickerbocker, Sambo Smith, Allen Primm, Donnie Williams and Clay Lowry.
