Clifton McKinney age 84, of Warren, AR. died Sunday, September 12th in Gardner Nursing Home, at Star City, AR. He was born August 15th, 1926 in Cleveland County, AR. a son of the late Samuel Nick McKinney and Mildred Childress McKinney. He was a Methodist an Avid Hunter and Fisherman a Carpenter and a United States WWII Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Marie Johnson McKinney, whom he married December 18th 1964 and she died May 1, 2007. Also preceding him in death is a daughter Pamela Kay Taylor, brothers, Winford McKinney, Lewis McKinney, Gaston McKinney, Clois McKinney, Doyle McKinney, Versle McKinney, Wilson McKinney and a sister Ruth McKinney Gavin. He is survived by his daughter, Terry Myers, Warren, Ar. A brother Robert McKinney, Seattle, WA. 4 grandchildren Laura Chambers Simpson, Rye, AR., Ricky O’Neil, Warren, AR., Amber Taylor, Conway, AR., and Mindy Groves Smith, Woodlawn, AR., 6 great-grandchildren. Graveside services with flag presentation were 10:00AM. Wednesday, September 15th at Enon Cemetery, Rye. AR. with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Billy Webb, Matt Webb, Reed McKinney, James Kitchens, Clay Winn, Kenneth Womble. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy McKinney, Randy McKinney, Klay McKinney, Tom Myers and John Taylor. Memorials preferred Bradley County Veterans Museum; 210 N. Main St.; Warren, AR. 71671

Message: I am so sorry to here about Clifton's death, upon reading his obituary in the Eagle my eyes were filled with tears, he was one of the best hunters and fisherman I ever knew and taught me alot as a boy. He is now in Paradise with God and his loved ones.
