Ruby Myrtle Garrett, age 100, of Marsden, AR. died Saturday September 11, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, AR. Born August 25, 1910 at Ferrell, AR. a daughter of the late Eddie Ferrell and Liza Griffis Ferrell. She was a homemaker, member Calvary Presbyterian Church and worked as a bomb maker during World War II at the Jacksonville Defense Plant. Preceding her in death was her husband Earl Garrett who died November 23, 1975; brothers Marvin Ferrell, Carl Ferrell, J.B. Ferrell, Willie Ferrell, Gresham Ferrell, George Ferrell, sisters Vinnie Armstrong and Mable Cooper. Survivors are a son Eddie Joe Garrett and spouse Sue, Little Rock, AR. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Monday September 13, Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Marsden Cemetery by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Charles Edward Ferrell, Kenneth Ferrell, Billy Joe Ferrell, Glynn Ferrell, Eddie Ferrell, Sonny Rainey. Honorary pallbearers were Dean Pipes, Hollis Clanton, Ernie Ferrell, Rev. Troy Pritt, Lamar Johnson, Doyle Gates, Don Hamilton, Stan Sweeney, Robert Green, Carroll Temple and Keith Harrod.
