Jeanette C. Baker, age 95, of Crossett, AR., passed away Wednesday June 2, 2010 at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop, LA. She was the widow of Arthur Baker whom she married November 19, 1933. She was a homemaker and loved to quilt. Those who received her quilts treasured them. She was also an avid gardener and faithful member First United Methodist Church of Crossett, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents Shelby Beasley and Ira Hickman Beasley, brothers Macon, Molton and Everett Beasley, sisters Vedia Savage and Alice Rodgers. She is survived by two nieces Opal Burchfield, Crossett, AR., Katrina Baker, Hermitage, AR., two nephews Donnie Beasley, Pine Bluff, AR., and Ladane Rodgers, Leawood, KS. and a host of great nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Friday June 4, Frazerís Chapel with Dr. Russell Moore officiating. Linda Barrett was soloist. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery at Sumpter, AR. by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Hoyle Mann, Jimmy Baker, Wayne Donaldson, Roger Burchfield, James Burchfield, Jim Anders, Hugh Allen Beasley and Darrel Ozment.
