Billie Faye Lewis Simpson, age 62, of Warren, AR. died Tuesday March 9, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. Born December 4, 1947 in Warren, AR. a daughter of the late Richard Lewis and Fannie Perkins Bray Lewis Sanders she was a retired cook for Mad Butcher and a member of Southside Baptist Church. She married Downey Lee Simpson, Sr. January 23, 1968 and he died January 8, 1996. Also, preceding her in death was a brother Charlie Bray, sisters Mable Brooks, Fran Lewis, Dean Van Pelt and a step father James B. Sanders. Survivors are 3 sons Downey Lee Simpson, Jr., Warren, AR., Danny Lee Simpson, Sr. Wilmar, AR., James Sanders, Warren, AR., 2 daughters Rickie Simpson Jankowski, Warren, AR. Billie Ann Repollet and spouse Manny, Warren, AR. 2 brothers Paul Bray and Eddie Lewis both of Warren, AR., 2 sisters Mary Dyer and Lovell Mills, both of Warren, AR. 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 13, Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Joe McClellan officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg, AR., by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Andy Jankowski, Tim Sandridge, Albert Simpson, Keith Sandridge, Jerry Hamilton and Paul Jankowski. Honorary pallbearers were Phil Thompson and Jamie Lawrence.
