Billie R. Clements, age 70, of New Edinburg, AR. died Saturday March 6, at Bradley County Medical Center. Born April 19, 1939 at New Edinburg, AR. a daughter of the late Robbie A. Sims and Jewel Brooks Sims she was a licensed dietician for the New Edinburg Public Schools, and owner/operator Clements Country Store & Restaurant. She later served as the business office manager for Wagnon Place Nursing Home and was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband Bobby Joe Clements whom she married June 6, 1956. 2 sons Austin Clements and spouse Suzannah, Calhoun, LA., Lewis Clements and spouse Connie, New Edinburg, AR., 2 daughters Mary Clark and spouse Joe, Birmingham, AL., Angie Clements, San Diego, CA., 1 brother James M. Sims and spouse Debbie, Farmerville, LA., 2 sisters Sue Sims Wagnon, Warren, AR., Bobbie Sims Derby and spouse Sam, Vicksburg, MS. 6 grandchildren Zac Clements, Bryant, AR., Luke Clements, Fayetteville, AR., Leah Clements, Bryant, AR., Ashley Clements, Jacob Clements both of New Orleans, LA., Jack Clements, Calhoun, LA. A host of nieces and nephews which she loved. Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Tuesday March 9, Frazerís Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Joe Clark gave the eulogy and Dell Simmons read a poem. Linda Barrett was organist and soloist were Jimmy Pennington and Pat Newton. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg, AR., by Frazerís Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Zac Clements, Luke Clements, Jacob Clements, Clay Wagnon, Sam Derby, Larry Derby, Billy Waldrop and Quinn Simmons. Honorary pallbearers were Ken Simmons and members of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Memorials preferred Chapel Hill Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.
